Is PostAi official and safe for my Instagram account?
PostAi uses Meta’s official Instagram API (Instagram API with Instagram Login). You log in on Instagram’s own screen and only grant permission to read your profile and posts, manage comments and send messages. Replies follow Meta’s rules and limits, and rotating reply variants keep your answers natural. You stay in control and can disconnect at any time.
Do I need a business account?
You need an Instagram professional account: Business or Creator. Switching is free and takes a minute in the Instagram app (Settings › Account type and tools › Switch to professional account).
How many comments can it reply to?
PostAi doesn’t cap your replies, but Meta does: Instagram limits how many automated messages an account can send per hour and allows one private reply (DM) per comment, within 7 days of the comment. If a limit is reached, PostAi waits and sends the reply as soon as it’s allowed again. Automations answer comments on your posts, not replies inside a comment thread.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Subscriptions are billed by the App Store or Google Play and you can cancel anytime in your store settings. Cancel at least 24 hours before the 7-day trial or the current month ends to avoid the next charge; you keep access until the end of the period. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel the subscription. Details in the Subscription Terms.
What happens if I downgrade or my plan ends?
Accounts above your plan’s limit (Starter allows 1, Pro up to 5) are paused, not deleted: they stop replying, and you choose which account stays active. If you don’t upgrade within 30 days, paused accounts are disconnected. On the Free plan all automations are paused.
Do you store my Instagram password?
Never. You log in on Instagram’s page and we only receive an access token, which is stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and used only to run your rules. You can revoke it from the app or from Instagram’s settings at any time.
Do I need to sign up?
No. PostAi works without a traditional login. If you change phones, open Profile › Recover my account and connect the same Instagram account to get your plan and automations back.
How do I delete my data?
In the app, go to Profile › Delete my data. You can also remove PostAi from Instagram’s settings or email us. See Data deletion for the details.
